ABOUT US

The Scottish Kidney Federation (SKF) is a dedicated organisation committed to advocating for and supporting kidney patients across Scotland.

Formed in Glasgow in 1977, the SKF has been giving a collective voice to individuals affected by kidney disease for over four decades.

The federation works tirelessly to ensure that the needs and concerns of kidney patients are heard at both local and national levels.

Through a network of affiliated patient groups, the SKF provides essential resources, educational programs and support services designed to enhance the quality of life for those living with kidney conditions.

The SKF actively engages with healthcare providers, policymakers and researchers to promote advancements in kidney care and treatment.

By organising events, awareness campaigns and fundraising activities, the federation not only raises vital funds for kidney research but also fosters a sense of community among patients and their families.

Through its unwavering dedication, the Scottish Kidney Federation continues to be a beacon of hope and support for kidney patients throughout Scotland.
